Dear Lil Kim, I Apologize!!!

You don't know me and I don't know you. I only know of you and your music but I'm very sad and sorry. I know you could probably careless of what I think about you but please take a moment and hear my words.
Please know that this comes from the heart!
I saw your photo post and my heart sank once I realize who it was! I didn't know who you were, I didn't recognize you!
I looked at the picture and I didn't see Beauty. I saw a woman who is in PAIN. SELF-HATE was my 1st thought and maybe that's being judgemental forgive me if it comes across like that. Not my intentions but I just can't understand what's going on ...
You were beautiful! Brown beautiful smooth skin who popped up on the scene and empowered young girls to be original, to be sexy, to be unapologetic for being individuals. We looked up to you when we saw you on TV, in a magazine or attended your concerts we were able to see ourselves in You! You don't owe me or anyone else anything but you owe everything to God! He created and designed you in his image. To us and to God you were perfect.
You were born from Royalty a long line of African Kings and Queens!
The skinned you once saw as too dark, honey Caucasians risk skin cancer just to have the skin color you despised!
I'm a lovely brown skin woman who had to learn to ignore what Society thought about my skin tone and learn to Love this skin color, appreciate it and embrace it!
God didn't make any mistakes when creating us!
I do understand the hurt you experienced while dating some of these wannabe men who didn't see the beauty in You. Who never told you that you were beautiful just the way you were. I can understand how that can affect a young girl's self esteem
Shame on them! So I just want to take the time and say to you what should've been said to you long before now!
I apologize to you...
I'm sorry that you ran into a whole lot of sorry ass losers who didn't have the intelligence or common sense to see you in your true beauty!
I apologize to you for all the men you gave your heart and body to only to experience being cheated on.
I apologize to you for this messed up society we live in who has misguided you into believing your beautiful brown skin wasn't Beautiful or Desirable!
That there is a Lie!
I knew many men who would have adored the original Lil Kim. Who never would have cheated on you and worked their hardest to assure you felt like a Queen!
I Apologize for all the Hurt and Pain that should have never entered into your spaces but it's time to let it Go!
Its's time to move forward
It's time to start loving yourself from the inside out!
We Love you! We have always Appreciated and supported you this won't change!

Praying for you... Please pray my strength in the Lord.

From the Heart,
Angela
